This week marks a pivotal moment for the Antigua & Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF), the Royal Police Force of Antigua & Barbuda (RPFAB), and the Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) as they launch a partnership with Aerodrome UAS Solutions.
A week-long Drone Pilot and Operations Training program is underway, designed to equip participants with the skills necessary for integrating drones into military and peacekeeping efforts throughout Antigua & Barbuda.
Led by trainers Mr. Giovanni Ruiz and Mr. Stuart De La Rosa, the program combines theoretical learning with practical field sessions. The opening ceremony took place on September 22, 2024, at the Police Training School, attended by key figures including Chief of Defence Staff Brigadier General Telbert Benjamin and Commissioner of Police Mr. Atlee Rodney.
