In response to last Friday’s firearm incident, the Ministry of Education is taking strong measures to ensure the safety of Clare Hall Secondary School. Director of Education Clare Browne emphasized the ministry’s commitment to creating a secure environment for students and staff.
To address the situation, the school will increase security personnel and improve surveillance, particularly in rear areas. Additionally, metal detectors already on hand will now be used to help prevent future incidents.
“We will not tolerate this kind of behavior,” Browne asserted, highlighting the ministry’s dedication to maintaining discipline within the school.
Despite the recent disturbances, Clare Hall Secondary will resume regular operations, as the ministry and faculty work to restore a safe and conducive learning environment.
