In response to the escalating challenges posed by climate change, the Government of Antigua and Barbuda is taking proactive steps to address extreme heat conditions.
As part of its comprehensive climate adaptation strategy, the government is convening a meeting to discuss the widespread adoption of air conditioners (ACs) across the nation.
The primary objective of this meeting is to explore opportunities for individuals and businesses to register as official AC installers. These registered installers will play a crucial role in implementing AC installation projects and programs, particularly those initiated by the Department of Environment.
Scheduled to take place virtually on May 13th, 2024, at 10pm via Microsoft Teams, the meeting will provide a platform for stakeholders to collaborate and contribute to climate resilience efforts in Antigua and Barbuda.
