Staff at Frank B Armstrong were back on the job this morning after the Union representing the workers met with the Antigua and Barbuda Employers’ Federation on the matter.
Prior to yesterday, the Federation had no involvement in the matter but were engaged shortly after the situation escalated into strike action.
The Federation gave a commitment to provide a response to the Union and the workers by Friday.
The employees say they are frustrated by the employer’s repeated attempts to stall the negotiations.
