Officials say they are pleased with the progress of construction on the Harrison Centre Antigua and Barbuda Institute for Continuing Education.
Education Minister, the Hon. Daryll Matthew toured the facility with the contractor, Colin Harrigan, on Wednesday.
The contractor says the work is about a month behind schedule, after facing severe material shortages, including difficulties obtaining cement and aggregates.
Harrigan says the project is set to be completed by the end of May this year.
UK-based Harrison Foundation has donated four million pounds sterling to construct the two-storey, 35-thousand-square-foot facility.
It will provide a boost for technical and vocation education and training in Antigua and Barbuda with facilities for automotive, welding, carpentry and joinery workshops, administrative offices, a sick bay, cafeteria and a music production area.
