Cabinet Concludes- All Parades to be Held in St. Johns, None at Stadium

After weeks of debates, even amongst citizens, the Cabinet has concluded that all carnival parades will be held within the city of St. John’s instead of Sir Vivian Richards Stadium which was being considered.

In regards to J’ouvert celebrations, a meeting will be held with the Jam-Bands, Cabinet Members and other officials and planners to determine how this event will be executed.

Furthermore, the Cabinet acknowledged the turnout so far for the Soca Monarch, stating that the Semi-Finals event attracted the one of the largest crowds for an event of its nature.

A great turnout for the Upcoming shows at Antigua Recreation Grounds is being anticipated.
