Antigua and Barbuda takes a look into Wellness Tourism

The government is taking a closer look at Wellness tourists as Antigua and Barbuda prepare for a major paradigm change in the tourism sector.

The goal, according to Prime Minister Gaston Browne, is to adapt and be viable in these unique circumstances.

The Prime Minister is enthusiastic about the idea and wants to learn more about it.

He believes that Barbuda is the appropriate location for the new initiative’s debut.

He stated that one of the current areas of diversification targeted by his government is Wellness Tourism.

“Wellness tourism is the future of tourism; it is the fastest-growing tourist industry in the world right now,” Browne added.

“We have multiple wellness properties,” he said, “and I believe that Barbuda is the finest island in the world for health and wellness tourism.”
