Improvements to the delivery of healthcare in Antigua and Barbuda are expected within the coming year.
Health Minister Sir Molwyn Joseph confirmed during the Browne and Browne Show on Saturday that a non-disclosure agreement has been signed with a top hospital in the United States.
He stated that the hospital- whose name cannot yet be disclosed to the public- will be providing expert advice on the approach of the development of a Cardiac Unit.
Mr. Joseph also mentioned that the dialysis unit will be relocated to the Edward Ward to accommodate the new Cardiac Unit which will be utilized for diagnostics and treatment of heart diseases.
