The School Uniform Grant Program (SUGP) has been extended to provide parents and guardians a second chance to use their unused coupons.
The endeavour, which began in July and ended on August 28, was indeed a triumph. Many recipients did not swap their coupons for school uniforms, according to sources, therefore the time for collecting has been extended to November 30, 2021.
The program’s supervisor, Tanesha McKenzie–James, also indicated that persons have been requesting more time to redeem vouchers.
“We’ve contacted all of our vendors. They were informed of the extension, so parents and guardians who have not yet redeemed their coupons can pick up their school uniforms at their respective shops,” she clarified.
The 16-year-old program has developed to become one of the country’s most prominent philanthropic efforts.
Only those who have previously gotten coupons and are not applying for fresh ones are eligible for this extension.
