CULTISH JAMAICAN PASTOR DIES IN CAR CRASH

Last Sunday, Kevin O. Smith, the Jamaican pastor who presided over the alleged human sacrifices, died in a vehicle collision.

When the tragedy happened in St Catherine, Smith was being brought to Kingston, the capital, from Montego Bay, the second-largest city, for court hearings. The van was occupied by Smith and three policemen.

One of the officers has died, while the other two are in serious condition in the hospital. Smith was the director of Montego Bay’s Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries.

The organization, which has been labelled a cult, gained nationwide attention after two followers’ throats were sliced by other attendees during an ‘ark ceremony.’

Another member of the squad was shot and killed by authorities after reportedly confronting officers who were responding to allegations of members being injured.

Smith, 39, and other members of the sect were arrested by authorities in connection with the gruesome events that allegedly occurred.

Smith had been worshipped as a god by his congregation, who addressed him as ‘Your Excellency.’
