The bitter fight between the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party and Member of Parliament Asot Micheal seems to be worsening.
In a letter dated 22nd October 2021 to Asot Michael, General Secretary MaryClare Hurst advised Micheal that the executive was due to meet on the very date and he was not eligible to attend the very meeting.
The letter went on to accuse Micheal of having hostile lawsuits in the high court against the Chairman and the tribunal and further his hostility against the very institution
Hurst accused Micheal of having disruptive and hostile behaviour towards the party and its leadership.
Micheal was warned in the letter if he attempt to enter the premises of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party he would be deemed to be trespassing and would be removed by law enforcement officers.
Micheal was advised to act in the interest of the law and to regulate his behaviour accordingly.
