The Antiguan Trumpet won the Best Online News Media award at the 7th annual Antigua Barbuda Gospel Music and Media Awards ABGMA, which was held at the Kentish Pentecostal Church over the weekend.
Observer by Newsco, Antigua Newsroom, Antigua Breaking News, Real News, Voice of The Caribbean, The Caribbean News Now, Loop News Caribbean, and The Caribbean Alert were among the online media firms nominated in this category.
The Antigua Barbuda Gospel Music & Media Awards was founded in 2015 by So Arise Music International as a global award ceremony. To date, there are over 30 categories.
Gospel music and media creators have the potential to be recognized by industry experts and fans all around the world.
The A.B.G.M.A event serves to motivate, encourage others to move, and have their being, to the full extent of what God intended to accomplish through their lives.
“Music being an intrinsic element of our production, the expression via varied genres, rhythms, and sounds is unavoidable,” stated Stanshaw Cornelius, the organization’s founder.
She continues, “Coupled with words that stimulate genuine change, make us move and praise, It is for this reason that we are pulled to the pulls of virtue.”
“And what better way to express gratitude for the innovation, hard effort, dedication to the good cause, and a strong sense of purpose than to give them a prize,” she expressed.
