Government sweetens Vaccination Incentive for Residents

The government continues to sweeten its COVID-19 vaccine incentive this time through a partnership with three gas stations, offering a free gas voucher for vaccination on two days.

According to the vaccination roll-out team, “persons receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine on June 29 and June 30 will receive a free gas voucher valued at $100 compliments WIOC, redeemable at M&M Service Station on Old Parham Road.

The Bridge Service Station on Lower Market Street and AL&B Service Station on Airport Road.”

The gas vouchers are offered at all four vaccination sites, The Villa Polyclinic, The Glanvilles Polyclinic, The Multipurpose Cultural and Exhibition Centre, and the Precision Center, 9 am to 5 pm.  

This latest incentive is to get persons to utilize the soon to expire AstraZeneca vaccines.

Meanwhile, the mobile vaccination unit will be on lower Nevis Street on Wednesday from 9 am to 3 pm.
