New Curfew Hours as of Monday 15th March, 20 New Laboratory Confirmed Covid-19 cases

A a decision was made at cabinet today that the curfew hours will run from 8 pm to 5 am as of Monday, March 15th. That curfew will run for one month. It is also reported bars are to remain closed and restaurants will continue to be restricted to take outs only.

Meanwhile the most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) has revealed twenty (20) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 8th March 2021 at 6pm.

These new cases were as a result of one hundred and forty-one (141) samples processed by MSJMC. Thirty-four (34) recoveries have been recorded bringing the total to four hundred and eighty-nine (489). One (1) Covid-19 related death has been recorded bringing the total to twenty-three (23).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is eight hundred and eighty-two (882); which is inclusive of three hundred and seventy (370) active cases.

Meanwhile, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight (1,898) Covid-19 vaccines were administered since the last publication bringing the total number of individuals vaccinated to seventeen thousand nine hundred and seventy-three (17,973).
