The police are continuing their investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of Police Corporal Clifton Common.
Common was reportedly injured in the line of duty by a male detained at St. John’s Police Station around 1:00 pm on Thursday.
He was taken to Mount St. John Medical Center, where was pronounced dead around 2:25 pm by a medical doctor.
