KFC Fort Road Closed due to possible COVID-19 Exposure.

Top Management of the KFC Antigua ltd last night held an emergency meeting to discuss the possible exposure of a Team Member to Covid-19.

All Employees of the Fort Road location were informed by Management not to report for work today and will be contacted as to the way forward during the course of the day as contact tracing commenced.

Management became aware of the situation, after the employee in question became ill with symptoms and was requested to take rapid antigen Covid-19 test. Ministry of Health Officials are expected to carry out a PCR test to further confirm the results of the antigen test.

The employee informed management of the result late Sunday afternoon, which resulted in the Company having to convene an emergency meeting and   issue the following notice:

KFC Antigua Ltd. wishes to inform the public that operations at its Fort Road location will be affected due to possible exposure to Covid-19.

The safety of our customers and employees remains our priority, as a result, our Fort Road store will be closed on Monday, February 8, 2021, to allow for sanitization and to facilitate the necessary contact tracing exercises.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our valued customers; we encourage all of you to stay safe and continue to observe ALL safety protocols as issued by the health authorities of Antigua & Barbuda.
