Hospitality Workers who have been unemployed across Antigua and Barbuda can apply for Christmas Care packages compliments the Antigua and Barbuda Workers Union/ABWU, The Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association/ABHTA and Antigua Distillery.
Antigua Distillery approached the ABHTA with an offer of a donation $2 from the sale of every bottle of their 5-year-old English Harbour Rum sold between November 30 and December 18.
The ABHTA and the ABWU are grateful for the donation and will be working along with Antigua Distillery to extend the offer to as many unemployed persons as they can.

To qualify:
Must have worked in the hospitality sector.
Must be currently unemployed whether part-time or full time.
You must have been employed in the Industry up to March 1, 2020.
You must have been severed from employment at any period between March – December 2020.
ApplicationThe application must be completed online or by visiting the Antigua and Barbuda Workers Unon by December 14, 2020.
A copy of your letter of severance must be added to the application. Applications will be reviewed and once approved; you will be contacted for distribution. Kindly ensure that your application is received in a timely manner as there are a limited number of packages available.
