Former Old Road resident discovered dead in his Bronx apartment

Family members at home and in the diaspora are mourning the death of a young Antiguan living in New York.

Trumpet News learned today that the body of Clinton Alexander, who is also known as “Diamond,” was found in a state of decomposition in his Bronx apartment.

Our News Department could not confirm how long he had not been seen, nor the circumstances that led to his body being discovered.

Another Antiguan who also lives in the Bronx says that word of Alexander’s death was circulating in the Antiguan community there this morning, but at the time, no details of how he died were known.

A source says that Alexander was originally from Old Road and was the father of one daughter.

Reportedly his mother was a nurse and his father a former police officer here. Further reports are that Alexander migrated to the United States years ago, but has two sisters who reside in Cedar Grove.
