Leroy King will have to wait a while longer to know his fate in a United States Court, his sentencing has been postponed to the 23rd of November this year.
The sentencing had been scheduled for the 30th of July in a Texas Federal Court. This is the second postponement.
The former chief of the Financial Services Regulatory Commission had been set for sentencing on April 24, but this was rescheduled amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
King had admitted his role in the Stanford International Bank Ponzi scheme earlier this year.
The 74 year old King of Dickenson Bay in Antigua, pleaded guilty to one count each of conspiracy to obstruct justice and obstruction of justice.
Each of the two counts carries a maximum sentence of 5 years imprisonment.
