Schools in Antigua and Barbuda will reopen on September 7.
According to a news release from the Ministry of Education, teachers will go back to the classroom on Monday, Aug. 31, followed by students on Monday, Sept. 7.
The large schools will have a shift rotational system with half of the school in face-to-face instruction on alternate days. There will be a mixture of in-person and online instruction.
During this week, there will be consultations with the Ministry of Education, the Board of Education, teachers, parents, the Union, Transport Board and other stakeholders.
